|Description:||We are looking to add an experienced Commercial Project Manager to our current team of professionals. If you have experience in multifamily, five over one multi-story buildings for a commercial general construction company you might be the team member we are looking for! |
We are a 25 year old Unique Commercial Construction Company that has a history of sustainable construction and community involvement. The majority of our work is negotiated, with a design build element. We are seeking an individual who can jump into the early stages of projects and work with owners and Architects to create great buildings.

|Duties:||The ideal Project Manager for Essex General Construction has previous experience in multifamily, multi-story buildings. Has experience working in constrained urban settings, with tight timeles and budgets. |
|Qualifications:||KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES|
•Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda and reports.
•Knowledge of building practices, techniques and codes in commercial, multi-family residential, institutional and industrial building construction.
•Knowledge of LEED and Earth Advantage rating systems. Ability to direct clients toward green building practices.
•Working knowledge and comprehension of construction plan drawings, contracts, related documents and practices
•Effective negotiation, team building and complex problem solving skills
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills
•Exceptional organization skills with keen attention to detail, deadlines and accuracy
•Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills;
•Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
•Ability to manage expectations, handle and resolve recurring problems with clients, manufacturers, vendors, subcontractors and owners.
•Minimally ten years' successful experience as commercial project manager.
•Bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline from an accredited educational institution
•MS Word, Excel, Outlook
LICENSES & TRAINING
•Current state issued non-commercial driver’s license
•CSI: CDT, CCCA
